Aerial wont come off?

I'm trying to take my aerial off but it wont play ball. It unscrews but wont actually come completely off. Anyone else had this problem or can shed some light on it for me? Cheers guys!

its on the forum, through the search, but in case you are too bone idle to search, you just need to give it a heafty tug. Place one hand on the base and push down and the other on the aerial and tug up sharply. Pop! Job done

Is it actually meant to come off? I know that you need to have a good tug if you want to fit an different aerial, but isnt the fact that its locked in a security thing? and can you get it back in once youve tugged it off?

Yup, if he wanted to get it he'd have to tug it off in the street, and nobody wants to be seen doing that

I tugged mine in the garage so I wouldn't look silly yanking in public, and it came off

I would like to know what happend to the big end that gets left behind when you tug hard and it breaks off?

Does it just rattle around in the orrifice for ever more???

Thinking about changing my ariel but I am not sure what will become of the broken nodule....

nothing breaks off it is designed as just a time consuming deterant.
