Ok thanks for the help mate you cleared it all up for me, I'll be looking forward to getting the extra power, just got to get it booked in somewhere now. Another question, I have a forge 007p recul valve and a BMC CDA induction kit would you recommened anyother upgrades before I get the remap or will that be fine for the time being?

You'd be well advised to change the BMC CDA for either an open cone (jetex are popular with good results) or a high-flow panel filter in a smoothed and possibly drilled OEM airbox. Do some searching on the CDA on here, lots of reports that they're too restrictive. You won't get the best out of your remap with a restrictive filter, more so if you want to go stage 2.

That's unlucky for me as I only got the BMC last week! Haha But I will keep it in mind and upgrade it in the future when I get some more cash together. Starting to realize this is not going to be a cheap car to own, haha to many wonderful things to do to it!

I've got revo stg1 on my lcr. Runs really well feels quite aggressive, always puts a smile on my face.
If your looking for a good place for a remap in the southwest area I can highly recommend APD-Vag in poole.
Had mine mapped there over a year ago, revo dealer.
Hope this helps.

Same mate. Meant to be smoother and more progressive than the Revo that AMD also sell down there.

Feel free to be the guinea pig. Could save you and I both a big drive north to CC HQ! Can't imagine you'll hate it.

Well I supposed I could always get a refund and take it off if I don't like it. It's only £100 as I've got Stage 1 already.

Yea go for it! If your going to the rr'd day you could get the discount if you was looking to get it done as soon as that?
I can't make this Sunday due to work. Plus my car keeps cutting out, gotta get that sorted.

I've just booked in with P-Torque, many good reviews on here (as there are with other Tuners too lol) but they're the closest to me and I've had discussions with them and been to their premises and I'm happy for them to have my car.

They're in the Midlands though bud, about 1.5 hours from Bristol. Be worth the trip there and back mind!

Had a look into the P-Torque and seems like a good option as it seems like a more progressive map rather than the Revo being more aggressive which seems it might destroy my clutch quicker. So decided to go for it I think :).

Just seen in another post of yours that you got your car booked in for next weekend. I've been emailing Will from P-Torque to get mine next weekend so might see you there!

Smooth and progressive is the way I'm going to go aswell.

AMD and Custom Code are smooth, progressive alternatives.

Not sure on the APR map, but Revo is meant to have a bit of a bite to it.

Had my P-Torque remap done today! Was a mint drive home only downside was the weather as it was horrible, but still enjoyed it massivley!:D Only problem was a coil pack that needs replacing soon so got 253 bhp and 297 lb/ft on the last dyno, but was told when the coil packs sorted I should be around the 260 bhp mark. Very impressed with the car its an animal! Thanks to P-Torque great place to get your car remapped!

How did you get on with it Ape? Were your coil packs ok?

Yeah it was a stage 1 with a aftermarket back box, 007p dv, and BMC CDA induction kit. Have only had the car a few months now so that small list will grow in time :). Overall I'm really happy with the result and plus the price of that remap you cant go wrong.

Nice one. Service first then will look into this when I sell my other car.

Mine is standard but thinking of either a K&N panel filter or some kind of induction kit as well.
