Advice on buying a Leon Cupra 1.8t

Hello

Im going to view a 2001 Leon Cupra 1.8t tomorrow, its got a full seat service history, its got the normal refinements with cloth interior and i've also been told its completely spotless in and outside.

However he mentioned just recently two warning lights have come on which are the engine management and another which i've forgotten.

The asking price is £2500

So is it worth the month to start off with/ things to look out for/ possible reasons for the lights.

Its not taxed so might of been sitting for a while i.e. maybe a flat battery.

Lights can be anything need to get it scanned vag-com is something you will read a lot about on here.
