No offence mate, but with your cars history, I would be very wary of any modifications.

I would give the car 6-8 months to see if it runs trouble free, and then after that would go ahead with it. His car could very well go trouble free for years now.

thanks for the reality check , but its a case of now or never , she is running very well now , touch wood all the gremlins have gone away.

Wasnt meaning to be cheeky, but I would fully expect that if you had any modifications on the car when you had all those problems, your warranty would have surely been in jeopardy. Having said that, it would of course be possible to remove any mods before it goes in to the garage like a Bluefin Map etc, but a Turbo Back exhaust is not exactly a 5 minute swap. Trust me on that one.

I really hope you have got to the back of all the problems on your car, but if it was mine, it would always be niggling in the back of my mind.

i didnt take it as cheeky m8 lol

i have found a good guy at a different SEAT garage and he is sympathetic to me after what i have been through , trust me once you have these problems it is still in the back of your mind , but what do you do? for me i am just trying to enjoy my car the best i can , i turned 39 yesterday and i can hear volvos calling me lol.

1 have 2 years left on my warranty and tbh once the warranty is up its going , i wouldnt trust it outside that period , so if i can get away with a few things for a couple of years i will be happy :D

do it dude, cai, autotech hpfp, remap. If the car really does get big issues those mods will be easily removed by one visit to your tuner!
