Any of you gents here with the Hybrid version: do you have the engine hood insulation installed?
I was wondering if the "naked" hood is a standard feature or if it's country dependent.

Same on the V2 1.5. No engine insulation. Guess it's based on size of the engine, unless anyone has different?

Yeah, mine didn't come with it either do I bought one and fitted it myself. Reasonably cheap and dead easy to fit. Looks much better too.

Indeed, it looks as if the car was not delivered incompletely built...
Do you have a part code for that insulation? Does it also come with the plastic buttons that hold it in place?
Thanks!
I bought mine from Here (one of the forum sponsors) but they've gone up a lot since.
However they're available cheaper Here. Both genuine parts. Part code is: 5FA863831-2.
And yes it comes with everything needed to fit it.

I went to the dealership this morning - it was an older appointment to install the front/rear mud flaps and the sport/aluminum pedal covers, that were not in stock when they delivered the car. Of course they messed up my order and the metal footrest didn't arrive, but because of that issue I asked a quotation for the bonnet insulation.
It turns out that it's only 35 Euros and it can be delivered in the same package with the footrest from Martorell - about 2 days lead time... so I'll have both next week.
Thanks again for the part code!

Just fitted these, not too bad needed a little double sided tape and a better hex key than the one supplied. View attachment 38112 View attachment 38113

I ended up getting these same ones. I didn't need double sided tape though, but I made sure to take my time while screwing in the screw.
I can see why these might not be for everyone, i don't like line of sight to the cluster being obstructed. However, i'll probably know after a month whether these are for me for the long term.

I had also purchased a sunglass holder to replace the grab handle on the driver's side. I am yet to be successful in removing it to replace it.

The Leon Cupra I bought had these already fitted by the previous owner. I had to remove em as they kept getting in the way when indicating n using cruise control etc. Much better for me now.

I'm hoping that I don't have that issue in the Formentor.

I've spent my morning trying to figure out how to remove the grab handle. I finally have an idea of how to do it.
Once done, I'll upload a pic of the final result.

I ended up buying the tool to remove the handle as i couldnt manage it with just two hands in a contorted position.

Amazon Handle tool

Happy to lend you the tool if youre nearby (im in south essex)
Im also procrastinating at work today
Thank you, Kindly.
I'm downunder in one of your penal colony's. lol

I managed to get the clip off last night. Had to pry while wiggling left and right but it's definitely something that you can't be gentle with.

But, turns out that i purchased the wrong glasses holder. 🤦‍♂️

Finally.
Done and dusted. Wasn't difficult to install and it's practical. There's a little bit of give when you pull down heavily, but it's not a natural amount of force.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with the results.

Is the sunglasses holder an official accessory? If yes, what’s the part number?

A link to where to purchase in the uk would also be good if possible!
