Both on this morning, stopped the car, turned the ignition off then on, abs light remains but the tcs light went off.

Checked fault codes, listed o/s front sensor. Cleared the fault code, abs light went out when I started the car and remained off when driving for a bit. I'll keep an eye on it, any ideas why this happend?

Cheers

If it's anything like mine it comes of then goes off (sometimes TCS and ABS sometimes just ABS) I believe it to be a sensor fault and it comes on once a month ish.

Like you say turning the ignition on and off sometimes resets it.

What I sometimes get it ABS also kicking in when Manouvering in a carpark, particualrly if I have some lock on the steering and pull into a parking bay....very odd because I'm only doing walking pace type speeds

Give the brakes and discs a good blast with a jet wash or power washer to see if it's just a bit of cr@p on the discs etc.

I assume it's a sensor on the way out

I noticed yesterday the abs kicking in pulling up to a junction slowly, thought it was odd at the time. Let me guess abs sensors cost a fortune?
