Discussed on here but a few pics of a couple of easy mods which I have done over the last couple of days:

AeroRear1.jpg

Polo Aero Rear Wiper mod - now with cap not popping off and a very smooth swipe! Must purchase a new SCN sticker and put it on straight

Intlight.jpg

Passat W8 Interior light with lights off......

IntlightRed.jpg

.....and lights on!

It's the subtle things which I like.

Cheers for the tip mate, I've got some of that kicking about. Did u just pull the sticker off or did it take a while coming off in small pieces? Peeled off a corner when I first got the car but defo didn't look to be coming off in one piece!

Cheers.

how does the polo wiper go on? is it just unmolt and stuff on?
Unbolt the old one, shave some plastic off the Polo one until it no longer pops off when you switch on the wiper and that's pretty much it really.

When I bought mine it cost around £18 inc postage from VAG Parts so it might be worth looking there.

Would the Polo rear wiper cure the problem of the blade not wiping the top of the screen properly ?

The only blade that cleaned properly at the top was the original one, none of the others (including dealer-supplied one) I've tried since have wiped properly.

Yes and no in that I think it's slightly shorter and so although it wipes all of the screen, there's a tiny section that's not covered. I would go out and take a photo, but it's cold, dark and I don't have my camera here with me. :p

The one i've just fitted is about 1cm shorter than the original but it does wipe the length of the blade all the way through the sweep. The main reason I changed is to stop the "Drumming" noise the old one used to make - this one does it smoothly.

£18 delivered in 2 days from Vagparts.

personal opinion but debaged cars always make me think its a base model and imo isnt a good mod

Yep got to agree with you there mate, I like it the way it is and am not keen on the spaced out SEAT or IBIZA badges in the middle of the boot lid either.

Each to their own though - thats what makes each of our cars different.

I took my car of the year sticker off the day i had mine aswell, it was really esay to take off and left no residue, just pulled off in one go.
As to the debadging, i wouldnt space ibiza or seat across the boot either. I have got a tdi badge in the middle of my boot because i want people to know what they just got beat by. You could put a 20vt badge in the middle or a fr one like bunnin has and you can keep people guessing as to whats under the bonnet.
But if you want to keep all the badges on then thats up to you.

I quite fancy getting an FR badge and sticking it onto one of the front grills - probably the nearside one, again just something very subtle. These badges are always on ebay until I actually want to buy one and nothing! What do you guys think?

Any ideas how much from the dealer?

Cheers.

The TDI letters came off one by one over time, so I just left it. I quite like the sleeper look tbh. People just think mine's a base model with big wheels until I leave them in a big cloud of soot. :cartman:

You should beable to get one from the sale in january from the dealer on here. Probably beable to pick one up for about £3 rather than paying the extortionet prices some ebayers think there worth. I remember seeing a set of two on there for a buy it now price of £25 :wtf:
Be good to see what it would look like on the grill though, although not entirely sure they'll stay on the front.
