LOL. I think I either new tyres on fronts or new brakes(see thread in this sub-section if you can help?) or maybe both! handling has dimisnhed greatly and stopping time.

If you're after cheap tyres and good quality treatment and fitting the guys at Britannia are excellent! (so good - theres always a big queue to get tyres there)

12,000 out of the original P-ZERO fronts, got some pilot sports on there now, they seem to b holding up ok!!!

My Leon FR did approx 23,000 on the front bridgestones that came with the car from new, the rears lasted for aprox 28,000. I have now changed to Michellin Primacy as i do alot of motorway driving and these are supposed to last 30,000+ as they are a harder compound. Mine does get abused on corners but i always have TC turned on so that helps with the ware.

If you drive on particularly bad roads it might be worth checking your alignement on all 4 wheels, this saved the tyres on my old car after going through sets in less than 10,000 miles.
