can anyone tell me if a 6 speed 'box from a PD 115 golf would fit my 110 ibiza?
my cousin has 1 laying around and thought i might get it fitted if its not too much trouble

what else would need changing? (im guessing clutch & flywheel)

...and driveshafts and brake components and some front suspension parts aswell, if I remember correctly. It can be done but there's a load of swapping and changing I think.

someone did this sort of conversion on tdiclub [on a 90hp obviously],,, IIRC there was no brake/suspension part to be changed,,, but I might be wrong,,, go there and do a search,,,

Only the driveshafts would be needed as a minimum IIRC. I believe it's the shorter nearside one which is significantly shorter. Using the 5 speed shafts will push the hubs out at the bottom, or more likely, simply won't fit at all through the inner hub due to being too long. :D
