I think someone above mentioned the 40K and 20K service were the same, or at least they were quoted for that.

Generally every 10K is oil filter
every 20K is a 10K + pollen filter
every 40K is a 20K + fuel filter, air filter, plugs for a petrol.
Brake Fluid every 2 years

Every year there should be an inspection service as well, checking levels and brake wear etc. How this fits around the above list depends on your annual mileage.

Does anyone know of a VAG trained independant garage in the Plymouth/Tavistock/Launceston area?
My 40k is due soon, but the car is now out of warranty.
Cheers.

Hi Mate
As Techie said you dont need to take your car to a dealer to keep up with warranty.
Now you dont even have to use genuine parts.
I have worked for dealers as a service manager and with 2 VAG specialists.
I have noticed that with the specialists you seem to get a better service.
Diagnostice checks are carried out as part of the service.
This is something that you would not get at the dealers that I worked at.
The labour rate is usually quite alot less too.
This is the main thing that you would notice on the pricings.
With the specialists being mod friendly too you will find that you would not have to revert your car to standard either , plus you can always get more advice and help from specialists.

Check out the pricings here.
You car then would be treated as if it was our own.
If I can help you will find me on here so you can give me a shout if you like.
