If i found a set of keys (of any kind), i would hand them in straight away. How much is a 3 button key plus reprogram anyway? £100? Ooooh.
Imagine if you had lost yours? Would you not want to give the person who found them, but did not hand them, in a good slap?
I once left a wallet, complete with credit card and £20 cash, on the bar at a local nightclub, and it was returned to me by post with ALL the contents, accompanied by a note written by the person who found it. I, as a matter of courtesy, sent back the £20, and told him to have a good drink on me.
Which is what any decent upstanding citizen would do.
Jesus, i sound like an old fart, but im only 27!?!
Or is it just me with no faith in the society today...?

Once found a mobile phone, a good one too in Tesco's car park, called the number marked 'Home', 1/2 an hour later a very grateful bird turned up with a bottle of wine to say thankyou.

Surrey darling...
I found some chaps wallet on the train recently and found his business card in there. Turned out he lived about half a mile away fromBarnes station so I dropped it in to his wife for him once I'd called to let him know it was safe - he hadn't even realised it had gone!

Turned up to drop it off and was greeted by a nice bottle of red wine and a very grateful wife!

Would like to think someone would do the same for me one day... there are a few nice people left in the world!

Just to get back on topic I have a 3 button remote which I programmed only a few days ago (THREAD) and the boot button works on mine. If I hold it down for a second or two it unlocks the boot only and disarms the alarm. Once you have got what you want from the boot and close it the alarm is re-armed as soon as you close it.

I think this may be the problem of the SEAT lottery when it comes to the same cars having different specs etc. The Golf/Passat/A3 etc. have this facility too I think and I would have thought they use the same module in the Leon for the alarm/immobiliser etc.

Mines from a Skoda Superb and it used to pop the boot open with a solarnoid, haven't tried holding it down for a few seconds, hope that works.

Sorry to ressurect this thread, but I re-programmed my 3 button flip key, and my boot release also works, for once the seat lottery has paid out for me (shame it's such a trivial thing)
