2020 Leon 1.5 eTSI DSG First Edition question

In the process of purchasing/negotiating an ex demo 20 plate Leon 1.5 eTSI DSG First Edition. With lockdown meaning that test drives and inspections are not allowed, I thought I'd ask a few questions here as the dealer isn't all that detailed with their email responses.

- The spec lists Adaptive Chassis Control (continuous) - is this the same as Dynamic Chassis Control, and is it switchable? E.g choosing Comfort over Sport suspension

- Does this model have drive profile selection?

- Does the current FR sport have any benefits as standard that are an improvement over this first edition?

- The car I'm looking at has the Dynamic and Comfort Pack but I can't seem to find a breakdown of what exactly this includes

Thanks in advance

It does have dynamic chassis control, you can change it when you change drive profiles( Eco, comfort, normal, sport, individual). In individual there's a slider where you can adjust the DCC (from comfort to sport there's 10 notches I think) in the preset modes the DCC is set as normal with the exception of comfort and sport where DCC is set accordingly. The suspension is still the lowered sports suspension the FR comes with but the firmness is adjustable.

From my understanding the FR sport has heated seats and steering wheel, but the first edition comes with a reversing camera and driving pack (L) as standard

I have no idea what the dynamic and comfort pack is but mine came with it too, I think it's just DCC

Hope this helps

Cheers Dan - that's really useful info.

The official information is really confusing and seems to be even contradictory in places so it's good to hear from first hand experience.

Out of interest, do you have the estate version? I read somewhere that the drive profiles come as standard with the estate first edition but not in the standard size first edition. Not sure if that's correct.

My main need was for the suspension firmness to be adjustable because I'm currently in a leon 2017 Xcellence which has the comfort suspension and I'm expecting the change up to this new FR first edition to feel a bit harsh until I get used to it.

I have the hatchback.

I never drove a previous generation Leon so can't comment. But I do notice the change between modes on a bumpy road. In the highest comfort setting it can feel a bit floaty but it's not too bad in standard comfort
