Pipe dynamics are Scottish based I believe. I installed the resonator and back box delete pipes myself. Instructions clear and everything included.
One hitch I had, or something they could improve upon, is the back box delete pipe. I got the one that mimics the standard exhaust tips, exiting on the left. The pipe provided goes from the tips, then turns to the right very quickly and back to the left to get over the rear subframe. This leaves only one hanger catching. Meaning if any bolts rust and give up, the pipe actually starts to sag down on that rear portion. Hard to explain perfectly, but just something to keep in mind.
instead, they could just go straight from tips and straight over the subframe, rather that mimicking where the muffler was.
I have the little 1.4tsi and with both deletes, it’s sounds much throatier and raspy at certain revs. Natural burbles and pops too. I do think about installing a rear box again from time to time to
help with the drone when doing motorway miles. At 70mph and 2k revs, there is quite a big drone. Getting closer to 77mph helps a little. But I would miss the way it sounds when you put the foot down.
