2017 Leon!!!

Hello guys i need your help. I am a future buyer of a Leon FR 1.4 mystery blue with the options:

Wheels PUM Performance 18"
Sport Banks in black alcantara - Interior
Front and rear parking sensors + Optics
Electric opening ceiling
SEAT Full LED
Navigation System-Cartography

what you think about the configuration is good? My Ibiza has a subwoofer sound with 4 speakers.

What about the system sound in Leon Fr is good 8 speaker?

Recommend to choose the pack sound system? And the Wireless charger for cellphone? Is worth it?

I got the 18" Performance Wheels on mine. Wasn't something I particularly wanted, it was just on the scheduled build that came with the colour and the convenience pack (which I did want), so decided to opt for that for the quicker delivery.

Was a bit nervous about whether the ride would be a lot firmer than my old 2014 1.4 FR (which had the standard wheels), but so far haven't found it too bad at all. Does feel a bit more harsh going over a pothole (of which there are too many around here) than the old car was but I don't usually choose to drive over potholes. Other than that no regrets so far.

I decided that I didn't want the rear camera and just the 'beeps' would be fine. My old Leon had front and rear sensors and a graphical display. Didn't realise that the standard rear sensors only have sound but no visual display so that will take some getting used to. I think not taking the rear camera option with front sensors will be a decision I'll end up regretting as I'd got quite used to having the front sensors. My wife's Leon SE has the camera pack but no front sensors, and she loves it. To be honest if I could turn the clock back I'd have paid the extra and if necessary waited longer for delivery just to get the parking pack.

The standard sound system in the Leon is fine for me and I wouldn't pay extra for an upgrade, but if I was 20 years younger I might have a different view. Radio 4 sounds just fine on my audio...

Mine is at the dealers now! No Idea what dealership it's at, as it's been bought through a leasing company. But I might get it as early as next week. Can't wait!

Your lease agreement should tell you (mine says VW Warrington!)

Pretty certain that could be aftermarket ways around it, not sure on costs etc though. No doubt you could actually end up getting used to the beeps like you got used to the camera?

Never had the camera before, it wasn't available back in 2014. My wife's is a 2016 model which has the camera but no front sensors. Completely agree I'll get used to it in time R4CK5, but it's just a hindsight thing...

Might look into the after market possibilities if it still bugs me in a couple of months, but imagine it'll not be cheap if it is do-able.

Reads as though you had to order a new Leon between 17th-28th Feb? If so I was a bit too early for that boat . Dealer certainly hasn't mentioned it to me.

I pick my car up tomorrow and I have the leaflet for the fuel card. You apparently have to register it online yourself so just waiting to collect the car before I can do it as you have to input the collection date and it apparently can't be in the future!!! My dealer also told me that it's just a pre paid MasterCard so you don't even have to use it for fuel, which is good for me as I have a fuel card through work anyway.

Ordered my 5 door 1.4Tsi Mystery Blue second week in Jan, build week was 10 when ordered, had been hovering around 15/16 over the last few weeks. Just been told it's now 21 and that's unconfirmed. Not very happy.

I ordered my 5-dr ACT 1.4 tsi FR in Monsoon Grey at the end of January (beginning of week 5). It arrived at the docks last week and the dealer is trying to get it for the end of this week, or sometime next week (week 14). Perhaps it's a colour issue?

Just heard from the dealer. It's arrived and I'm collecting it tomorrow

8½ weeks, better then expected. But the dealer said deliveries were all over the place at the moment.

So finally picked my fr up earlier this afternoon. Got to say, compared with my previous se dynamic technology it is night and day and simply better in every way. Interior is nicer, styling is nicer, ride and power are far better, just simply loving it. Already have a couple of things as standard that I thought I'd have to programme with vcds so that's saved me a couple of jobs. I've got a dash cam to hardwire in and some fan washer jets to install then it'll be a case of tinkering as and when I get the chance to. Pictures a bit naff as i didn't get round to taking any until dusk so light not the greatest.

Cheers mate. The metallic black really pops in the sunlight which looks amazing. Yeah I'm glad I went with the 18s I wasn't a huge fan of the 17s in all honesty. Always something you can change at a later day with ease should you want to.
