Mines a 1.4 ecotsi FR ST DSG in Monsoon grey. No extras as it was a cheapish lease deal.

It'll be March at least as I'm a tart and want the new reg plate.

I ordered my Leon on the 16th December (within the UK) and am told it'll be built during week 10, so w/c 6th March 2017, with delivery to dealer about 2 weeks later.

I was told that there had been delays with the 1.4 EcoTSI 150 but now that it had a solid build date there were unlikely to be any more.

Given the road-tax changes from April, I did ask what would happen to my contract hire pricing if there were any further delays, and was told that as long as the vehicle has a VIN/Chassis Number by 31st March Seat UK will register the vehicle (even if it's on the boat) to avoid the new tax rules.

Midnight Black Leon FR 1.4 EcoTSI 150 DSG, no other options.

Got this info from a Seat dealer yesterday. Was looking at pch to see whats available. Then consider purchase option.

Current lease deals with any extras too high at the moment. Think I will wait till 2018 model year news from week 22 production

The lead time on the above variants are as follows:

- SEAT Leon 5dr 2.0 TSI CUPRA 300 DSG – Approx. 14 weeks

- SEAT Leon 5dr FR Technology 1.8 TSI 180PS DSG - Approx. 27 weeks (12 weeks for car, +15 weeks for the 18” Performance Machined Alloys)

The Leon FR is also on the Product Restriction list too, which adds an additional 8 weeks onto a lead time, however as the 18” Performance Machined Alloys are + 15 weeks the FR restriction runs alongside the alloy restriction.

Have now heard why cars are delayed from the factory. Every one who has Led frontlights in the order is 8 weeks delayed. So maybe it's possible to cancel the order and wait for the 2018 model it will come in week 22. With active info display and 1.5 Tsi Evo and a new 7 speed DSG.

There will always be some new stuff in the pipeline. Some of the new options will come at a premium - expect the active display will add a few quid and prices may increase for 2018my.

When is week 22?

A new leon being announced in week 22 just after a face-lift has gone out?

I thought the active display was coming a bit later in the year. It's not a new model just some changes for the new model year.

`2018 - Or ?

Not saying that the VAG will not adjust their introduction schedule for new gadgets to fit the UK. But doubt strongly that Seat will adjust all this, for market introduction in Apr. 2017, and name this modelyear 2018. More so as most -if not all- of the countries abroad just follow the big Gregorian invention; called calendar.

Yes I also think the E-dash will be coming soon, but only now because for some reason it was not available when updating the LC to the 300.
Feared for exhaust tips flush in rear bumper, but sofar not (or not yet) !

Not sure where you got April 2017 from. Model years don't run in line with the Gregorian calendar. Have a search for earlier yrs model year topics. Posts earlier in this thread suggest end of May. Not sure when vehicles will be delivered to different countries and specs will differ in some markets.
Similar to magazine publicaton dates. I'm sure you'll find some April 2017 copies in shops now and we're not into march yet. All Marketing techniques.

A year in the VAG calendar is running from week 22 to week 21. Week 22 is next year's model. So from week 22 this year a car is my18. Skoda is from week 22 introduceing new engine 1.5 Evo and some other things. Seat will also introduce 1.5 Evo and along will come active display.

A couple in Arnold Clark. Was only in for short time to pick up car after service but they had a couple of facelift FRs in.

My local dealer had an FR on the road at the start of February when I ordered my car, it's what made me pick Desire Red

My dealer had an FR outside yesterday in Desire Red, with sunroof, looked quite dark on what was a miserable overcast day.(very like the previous Monsant Red).
