Nice motor! I am a fan of red and black!

Got any plans for it?

May I recommend blanking out your number plates in the pictures as people have had issues before with plates being used on other cars.

Probably just a panel filter and a stage 1 remap to start with.

Really enjoying driving this little car, I've had 2 EP3 Civic Type R's in the past and this is so much easier to drive fast. This probably isn't any faster but due to it being turbo charged and having nearly 100lbft of extra torque over the EP3 it's much quicker in the lower rev range.

I think the Cupra is relatively quiet though so maybe a resonator delete would solve this without being too loud (I'm 36 so don't want crazy loud) I've ordered a Pipercross panel filter although I don't think this will have an impact on the noise?
Also I wouldn't mind hearing the turbo work but not interested in an overly loud dump valve. I'm new to petrol turbos so any info or advice with regards to diverter valve/recirc valves is much appreciated.

James.

2 new front tyres fitted, the Runway 926 performance were down right dangerous spinning up in 3rd gear. Fitted Michelin Pilot Sport 4's and it's transformed the car, 2nd gear tight corners can now be taken with ease and no squirming under braking. The fronts are so good that I can feel the car start to rotate. The rears are Bridgestone Potenza S001 but will also get replaced with Pilot Sport 4's when they are worn.

Had the car mapped last week using APR software. I can confirm the EA888 gen 3 engine puts out a lot more power than 192, I've heard quite a few people say they make around 210 standard, with just a Pipercross panel filter and on V Power it made 212. With the new software it's running 247bhp and 306ft-lbs/415nm.

Very happy with the results and feels like the car should always have had this power. The standard exhaust is very quiet so I'll get a resonator delete or a custom system fitted soon.

Love the car and you've done an amazing job making it shine. Bit late, but if you want to hear noises I'd consider an open air intake. It allows you to hear a lot of the turbo / engine noises gives a nice whooosh when you boot it.
