Airbags. It had quite a crash, and unlike it's VAG relatives, the entire dash has to be replaced

Ah of course! Did you get the facelift dashboard or the same one that was in that model? Obviously there isn't that much difference, just curious is all.

Just the same one. Didn't want to risk it not fitting! I had looked at alternatives because the interior of the car is a weird brown sort of colour, I had looked into getting a black dash and then the door cards could have been painted to match but this didn't happen in the end
