2003 diesel sport alarm/key prob HELP!!!

JUST BOUGHT A 2003 SEAT IBIZA SPORT DIESEL PD 130, GREAT CAR JUST HAVING A FEW PROBS WITH THE ALRM/KEY. I ONLY GOT ONE KEY WITH IT AND THE ALARM FOB DOES NOT WORK ON THIS, JUST WONDERING IF THERE IS A WAY TO SWITCH THE ALARM OFF OR THE LOCATION OF THE ALARM SO I CAN TEMP DE ACTIVATE IT AS IT GOES OFF EVERYTIME I UNLOCK THE DOOR:cry: IT HAS ALSO JUST STARTED TO FLASH UP THE KEY READER SIGHN ON THE DASH SOMETIMES WHEN I PUT THE IGNITION ON, NOT ALL THE TIME JUST SOME TIMES DOES THIS MEAN I NEED A NEY KEY AND IS THIS EXSPENSIVE? IT IS DUE A CEMBELT SOON ASWELL ANY IDEA ON PRICE FOR THIS JOB AND LABOUR TIME? I KNOW ITS A LOT OF QUESTIONS BUT I AM A NEW MEMBER TO THIS SITE AND I WAS TOLD IT WAS A GOOD FRIENDLY HELPFULL SIGHT;) HOPE TO HEAR SOME FEED BACK CHEERS

I think your caps lock button is stuck...

As said above, have you changed the battery in your key??

cambelt, tensioners and waterpump, about £300.

i replaced the battery in the key and it made no difference:help:

It may be worth recoding the key, takes 2 seconds and could solve your issue, have a look at the 'flip key thread' in FAQ section bud
