2000 Ibiza S - drivers side door lock problem??

No remote, just a normal key.. I'm going to take the door apart properly tomorrow so I can see exactly whats happening and go from there

I've just taken the door lock/latch assembly out and found the solenoid it's connected to is aftermarket for retrofitting central locking! and its knackered!!

I've disconnected that and still its playing up.. think though its safe to say its the latch so just trying to source a used part now that works!

After a lot of fiddling about with the latch and lock itself I finally got it working and thankfully did only end up costing the price of a lock repair kit!

Thanks for all the advice, would have been a lot more out of pocket if it wasn't for the help of you guys!

Passenger door won't lock

Hi I have a Seat Ibiza 1.2 2002 plate and when I lock the door from the outside using the key, it will lock all of doors and the boot fine.

But when i'm inside the car and decide to lock the doors by pressing the button, it will lock the drivers door fine but the passenger side door with lock and then pop back open again. It's driving me insane as I might need to lock my door incase of an emergency and it won't lock

Any ideas!!??
