I suspect this has alreday been done to death, so apologies up front.

My FR turned 8,500 miles this morning and has now started showing as service due in 900 miles, which is only 9,400 miles........yet I believe the service is only due every 10K miles.....

So is this a sneaky way of generating revenue early :(

And am I fine to leave it right until it hits 10,000

Cheers

But I'm fine to actually wait until 10,000 miles as advised by the book ?

10K miles or one year whichever is first, so if the car has say done only 5K miles but is 12 months old it needs a service.

Apparently due to the conversion it comes on early as others have said but mine came on at bang on 10K miles.

Cheers, thanks for the replies, mine's coming up on 7 months old so will be fine - would have been much higher but have borrowed a few work cars and saved a couple of thousand miles and also done more in my other car than planned, so a little later than I was expecting.

My first service is courtesy of SEAT customer services too...............
