17550 P1142 Code

This is turning into a rather annoying game. I resolve one code and I get another!

Today's code is 17550 P1142 - Load circulation cross check - Lower Limit Exceeded.

Possible causes could be:
* Mass Air Flow Sensors (G70) faulty
* Intake Air System faulty/leaking (false Air)
* Throttle Pedal faulty
* Throttle Body dirty/faulty

The MAF is barely a month old. Seriously doubting thats the issue. Intake air system leak could be one, its been on the ramps enough times and had that much fettling something might have been disturbed. One for me to chase up.

Throttle body alignment is something I've not done before. I dont have VAG-COM, just a 405 code reader. I guess its worth trying a throttle body alignment?

Does anyone know if I take off the TB to clean it, does it need to be re-aligned when re-fitting or will it be ok?

Ok, so had a mooch round the engine bay over the weekend....

Look what I found!

Its the PCV breather hose. The clip has snapped causing it not to sit right. Here's a closer look at it:

Looks like the clips are part of the pipe itself. Just rang the stealers now, waiting for them to call me back once they've found it on their systems.

Hopefully this will be the cure Updates to follow!

Does anyone know what pipe this is and where it goes to?

Ive found a rather magnificent mist of oil around this area. In the first picture you can see the oil filter housing, then some sort of sensor plugged into the engine block in the centre. On the second picture looking further up, you can just make out a black pipe which goes into the engine. This is where it 'seems' to be coming from.

Any help appreciated. I think its another pipe leak but its SO hard to get to!

Its not the crank speed sensor is it..ime just guessing.

The bolt/screw to hold it in place is easier to get to with the oil filter removed..hence my thinking.....is it a pipe or a cable.
