17" Wheels

Reading the thread on replacement wheel's was intriguing, but I don't wanna put wheel's over 17" in size on the car for fear of making the ride ridiculously hard and uncomfortable - the road's in my area are particularly bad.

Has anybody put aftermarket 17"'s in their Leon and got any pic's, or any pic's in of the official 17" alternate wheel's on a car.

Unless of course anyone has tried these and 18"'s on bad road's and swears blind they don't affect the ride quality at all!

Thanks

They will affect the ride quality mate. My LCR 02 plate is a tuff ride (live around Lingfield, Surrey and the roads are all bumpy country lanes) but that does not bother me being 23 I am more than happy to put up with that. My father gets out of my car (on the rare occasion that I let him drive it :) ) and moans for days making jokes about p1ssing blood etc.

I spotted some genuine Seat 17" wheels on their website under parts, part no. 1P0071490, that I liked the look of does anyone have any pics of a new leon with these wheels on and/ or do you know if optional accessory wheels can be spec'd at the time of buying a new car and thus save a bit of money?

If it's any help, the 17" wheels on my Altea are fine over challenging surfaces.
I was worried about this before I bought mine ,but its no worse than the cars I drove on test drives with 16" on.
I use a lot of roads with humps in every day , and it deals with those with ease.

Its gonna be about 6 weeks yet!

Better be worth it, it cost me £1180 to get the wheels and tyres, and im stuck with the old ones (brand new) unless I can sell them.

But its gonna look like this but black:

if its seat wheels supplied by same dealer as the new car it should be an upgrade cost as optional wheels can be factory fitted, not the full rrp and 4 wheels extra u dont need...
