last week paid £148 at Newbury SEAT

BUT

I supplied my own Motul 15-40w oil (from Bill)

and they didn't have to do an air filter change.

To be honest they are all much of a muchness unless you choose to get an independent to do it (supposedly according to regulation as long as they use approved parts warranty will stand up)

Who told you spurs service went down hill. Is that a matter of opinion or have you been told.

personal experiance told me !!!!!!

i was asked why i brought my car their to be fixed "you did not buy it from us"
so what what difference does that make?

eventuallly car was booked in and they did not fix any of the faults."parts on order get it fixed for you" never heard anything back.

im thinking my next car purchase will be based on customers service rather than how many horses they can stick under the bonnet for the least i.e seat

But now you do not need to take your car to a dealer to keep up with warranty.
You can take your car to a vat registered garage to be serviced and still keep the warranty.
As long as genuine parts are used and you keep to the service scedual you will be ok.
We have done a few of these and we charge £110.00 + VAT for the 10k service.
Using genuine parts.
