Hmm.. not sure.
turns out the valvegear on the car is all bog stock
Revs to 8K rpms, 440+bhp Leon Race car...

Its done a few races siince this CNC ported head was fitted no problem, developed a misfire and loss of power last race. Now he knows why.

Amazing his engine builder built up a race motor with std valves..

Known weakspot folks who read this. Beware!

standard valve had probably started to wobble over time and heated up the cap so it failed, whats the cap made from?

just curious, looks like some form of carbide.

3" 16swg is a 1D (76mm rad)

180s are available but no-one normally stocks them (never say never though)

usually just weld 2x 90s back to back, depends on the rad you are after

yea CLR=centre line radius... cheers m8

and no, probably not.
embarking on a.n.other transmission @ the mo also... Different make. Fingers crossed.

ker-ching £ :( again!

New setup is slightly larger (physically) but should be similar flowrates to what I have had. (maybe a smidge more ;) )
externally gated tho with Tial wastegate etc
New turbos arrived, going off tomorrow for its bearing upgrade before I use it.
Manifolds the next thing to sort. never bloody ending this tuning lark!

We will see where we end up.
May well slip into winter project as this is shaping up to be a big evolution step
