what is the evap system?
what is evap canister?
what it is used?

it is the black cannister behind the washer bottle , it's for the us market for there emissions so is not needed over here mine got ripped out long time ago

does it have any advantage of ripping it out ? will it cause any EML issues, not that mine isnt on all the bloody time anyway lol just be nice to know if causes any unwanted problems.

cleans up engine bay a little removes pipe going to the t/b back to the tip

i have had to problems put a 330 ohms resistor in light will only come on once every few months , but it can be mapped out which is what i shall be doing when it goes to jbs

so u said chris, i can his without probleme remove, than there give resistor and it is ok?

there is 2 ways you can remove the canister and pipework but leave the electrical part plugged in you will not get a fault code but will have to put up with the ticking noise it makes

or

remove the lot and connect a 330 ohm resistor into the plug but will get a fault code now and again i carry my hand held scanner with me so clear it when it comes up

have 1.8T AQX/AYP Suction Jet Pump or not?

i was looking for AQX/AYP motor diagram but i not found it
i looked at now on AWD engine diagram, becasue it looks like AQX/AYP and there isnt, so maybe there will not be :-D

Which one have you got mate? did it set you back much ? could be very handy instead of lugging around a laptop haha

i have seen applications for you mobile now and things, have you tried any of those ?

If you remove you will get an EML at some point no matter what you do.
