it is the black cannister behind the washer bottle , it's for the us market for there emissions so is not needed over here mine got ripped out long time ago
does it have any advantage of ripping it out ? will it cause any EML issues, not that mine isnt on all the bloody time anyway lol just be nice to know if causes any unwanted problems.
cleans up engine bay a little removes pipe going to the t/b back to the tip
i have had to problems put a 330 ohms resistor in light will only come on once every few months , but it can be mapped out which is what i shall be doing when it goes to jbs
there is 2 ways you can remove the canister and pipework but leave the electrical part plugged in you will not get a fault code but will have to put up with the ticking noise it makes
or
remove the lot and connect a 330 ohm resistor into the plug but will get a fault code now and again i carry my hand held scanner with me so clear it when it comes up

i was looking for AQX/AYP motor diagram but i not found it
i looked at now on AWD engine diagram, becasue it looks like AQX/AYP and there isnt, so maybe there will not be :-D
