Hello,

I am looking for a clutch upgrade for my MQ250 gearbox. Any suggestions? I am running 420nm and the clutch is the weakest link.. It slipped on me yesterday 3 times after a bit of normal driving it was OK again. Btw, does anyone know if it can be replaced with a clutch from the 2.0 TSi engines (MQ350 gb)? Can I continue driving btw? Until it gives up on me?

Thank you Seat/Cupra/VAG brooos. :)

Have a nice day,
Patrik.

Have a look at RTS if they're still offering it. Though I'd be wary as I think they rate it for around 440lb/ft but people have had it slip at less...

Otherwise IIRC (i might be wrong memories foggy) you're looking at gearbox and clutch as unfortunately the MQ250 is maxed out with the 228mm clutch.

You'd be looking at a 2.0 MQ350 and 240mm clutch at which point you're far better off putting that money towards a cupra etc

I have a whole post about it you can skim through where the guys helped me out, my turbo blew and I was going to just send it with an bigger upgrade but ended up getting a refurb with map.
