1.6 8V exhaust manifold upgrades

Has anyone changed them to better ones? I was trying to find for ages but no luck. Would it be worth it to have it customized to 4-2-1 branch and a slightly bigger bore?

I doubt you;ll see much of a benefit on the 1.6. By the time you've spent the cash on a custom manifold you might has well have just dropped a better engine in it, 2.0 16v engines aren't expensive.

Thanks mate, I was already thinking of that too. Looks like the path i need is an engine swap.

Check out this months PVW there's an add in there for a company who are making 4-2-1 manifolds etc for the 1.6 Polo (think it's the same engine)

£150 IIRC
