a regular blow off valve will not work in this application , lets be clear its not needed either , the factory solenoid valve does the job its supposed to , the blow off spacer is what it is , a spacer to give you the blow off sound with zero issues , you either want the blow off sound or you dont ...personal choice is great ... with over 500 + solf for this applicayion I guess a few customers like it

techie i'd love to hear a vid of yours without the supercharger sound proofing and with the blow off valve.

the engine is complex because of the turbo and super, so fitting a BOV not possible....

The spacer is between turbo and the factory electronic BOV, but yeah makes the sound more louder.....

One of the problems i had with the 'new' cupra was a lack of drama - it was too quiet. i like rorty snorty 'get out of my way' cars. Part of putting the drama back into my car was fitting a Forge spacer. Mission complete.:D

I don't believe fitting the spacer means less power - the 13.4 sec 1/4 mile I ran is 0.1 sec quicker than Autocar measured for the Ferrari Testarossa. Enough power?;)

Yeah ive got one, dyno'd and still producting good power. Cant see why unless its leaking why you would loose power.

i wouldnt imagine you would lose power, unless there is a loss in pressure maybe which can cause less spool or something maybe?? i think ill be tempted to get one just for the wooooosh lol. never had one on the lcr due to too many problems
