1.4 spak plus gap

are the gaps for a 1.4 on spakr plugs all the same?

from what i have seen it depends on the engine code but can be 0.8mm or 1.0mm, is this correct?

triple electrode plugs tend not to need gapping, just replacing

i take it you can only get triple electrode plugs when you get new ones anyway

i think i will check what they should be when i get em just to be on the safe side

theyre all 1.0mm apart from AFT (0.9mm) and ABF (0.6mm) engines. according to haynes manual.

You can use regular single electrode plugs, but don't expect to get 30,000 or 40,000 miles out of them (or however long Seat reckon a set of multi electrode ones are good for).

from past experience about 500 miles

usual rule is 20k for most plugs and listed 40k for platinum

but for what they cost i do mine every 10k oil change
