1.4 non starter?

Right i got a 1.4 ibiza. Started it and drove it last weekend.

Just gone to start it today. It starts perfectly, without revs etc...

2 second then it cuts out?

Been told it could be the fuel cut off switch(not sure why it would suddenly change though)

Any ideas?

Been told to disconnect the battery for ten minutes as well then try again

Wont be doing it untill the morning now anyways...

check you battery mine did that and the battery was nakered, spray ya engine with wd40 might be damp

immobiliser either faulty or need reprogrammed

Sounds like imoblizer. Check for a small black chip inside the key.

Yep, I've ****ing lost the small chip havent I. What a numpty

Some tells me you have to take the car in to get it reprogrammed? could be a problem with a bent rear beam and no brakes.

No way of getting around this except from buyint a new key?

Seat say it can take up to two weeks for a key! I need the car on the road by end of the week.

Any way of turning the imobiliser off somehow?
