1.2tsi fr radio code

Hi, I'm new to this whole forum thing so apologies if this subject has been discussed already. I recently had to get my ecu swapped due to a wire damaging it beyond repair. A garage swapped it but now my radio has gone to safe mode and requires a code. I spoke to the garage and they said they couldn't find the code (I also looked around the car and manuals and couldn't find it) and they suggested to phone a seat dealership to get them to give the code. Phoned a few places and they said they would need me to bring the car in and plug it in to get the code which will be about £50+ depending on the place I take it. The closest garage is an hour drive and i don't really want to go through with that if I can help it.

I have seen mentions of code-generating websites but I was wondering if there is a way I can either get the code without having to pay for one as I find it a bit odd that i have to pay extra to get a code for my own radio or if there is a website that someone has used, that isn't too pricey, for me to get the code from.

Any advice is appreciated.
