It looks like you have undone the cover where the arrow is pointing to , it part of the engine coolant system.

could you take a pic of the throttle body ?

There is no egr valve attached it looks like its been blanked off or the engine model doesnt come with an egr valve.

They are supposed to be to help with emmisions, they put exhaust fumes back into the intake manifold and gunk everything up , have you had the car from new ?

Thanks,

I did the same but did not replace the O-Ring. I got the barometric code P0106. I know it is related to the Map sensor or woul that be because I did not replace the O-ring and perhaps there is extra air coming in ?

Could you advise me where to get that O-ring please? My car is a 1.2 MK4 12 V 64 HP

P.s. car runs a bit richer on idle

You can get, or get ordered in any spare part from your local Seat dealer, in this case, a VW or Skoda dealer could get the part for you as they all use that engine code.

Barometric error code, you could remove the MAP sensor and clean it as well, it will be secured into the inlet manifold, at the LHS side - looking in, ie the drivers side of the car, by two screws. Once the screws are out you just pull it out, slight resistance due to its captive O ring seal, which you can reuse as you normally can with the rubber O ring seal on the TB - although I would never "poo poo" anyone saying that that O ring should be replaced (I replaced mine but the original one looked okay).
