It still brakes my heart to know this car was pulled to bits and then left as a shell in a scrap yard I loved this car

At least all that graft wasn't totally lost. I bet it was a hell of a fun ride with bags of performance.
Can I ask why you sold up and moved on? Don't want to do the same to mine only to sell up months later.

I just woke up one morning and was sick of it. I'd spend probably £20k plus and could easily have spent another £10k. I put up a half arsed advert and after 4 hours, I'd sold about £6k of parts. So it didn't give me time to change my mind.
I think the worst thing I ever did was take it off the road. A diesel doesn't make the most sense for a fast car. My Leon cost £2k to make quicker than the Ibiza.

Seriously wasn't your ibiza running about 350bhp through.
Wouldn't the Leon Cupra r need to be running about 400bhp to get about the same power level as the ibiza due to lower torque and hevey waight in the Leon ?????

Surly the Leon Cupra r would cost more than 2k to get to that power level. it will cost nearly that once u have uprated com rods and other internals let alone turbo etc
