yes, guess it's harder to get less than 5.5-6s without changing tires size....even with a extra 100bhp :thumbd:

My car has a 1.3 bar spike and sustains 1.15 now (of course until it can which is @ ~ 4300) and i was (actually am) always afraid that it will get damaged too quickly. What do you think?

BTW: Slicky tires and a prepared track help a lot! Pullnig a good 60 feet makes very optimistic 0-60s, but in gear acc will still be "average". I'm using my plain 195/45 rubbers on a simple asphalt (+paper filter, etc).

Who did your chip BTW? Didn't they warn you about any possible failure of the turbo?

EDIT: What's youur peculiar tecnic to start? :)

what do you mean by "BTW" :hide: ? It's a french companie called O2 who did the remap...And well, for sure it's more fragile than a std 0.6bar boost but I'm using that level of boost not very often...I'm used to driving in a cool way ;)
I'm from a french SEAT forum where many people have a average 1.3-1.4bar boost and there's no broken turbo by now...Maybe it's unly a matter of chance....Or maybe it's because we always let the turbo warm at start and cool before switching off the engine...

Then, I'm feeted in std 16/195/45 with P zero Assimetrico...And my tecnic to start is to let the TCS on on the 1st gear and remove it just before passing the 2nd.... And to charge the turbo before the start so that you reduce the lag ;)

PS: Iv've got a great 26.5lbft torque....

Turning the TCS off at speeds over 10mph doesn't actually turn it off (Desipte the light!).

Also, giving it boost/revs before you go will result in wheelspin, then TCS kicking in, and you headbutting the steering wheel! Unless of course you gave excellent clutch control.

Our experiences in the UK have shown that increasing the boost much beyong 1.1bar just results in more heat, which ultimately slows the car down. ie. more boost does not always mean more speed.

Seems like you do things slightly differently in France.

Actually, do you have TCS or ESP in France?

Well, it does 'cause if I don't turn it off, there's an "injection cut" when passing the 2nd that slows me...which does not appear when turning it off...strange if you're right...

Well, that's the point where my tecnic comes...The TCS is not "violent" on my car on the 1st gear...It's hard to explain because of my poor english but...Even switched on, the TSC don't headbut the wheels but just smoothly slows then...And my ibiza is the only one I know that does this kind of stuff

Maybe you're right, but how to explain that with my amount of boost, I'm in front of 1.0-1.1-1.2bar ibizas with same exhaust and performing the same as a LCR 210 mapped at 250bhp from 50mph to 130mph....

YEs, it seems...and that's a nice point to compare
