Thinking of upgrading my wheels after all ...
Found a nice set R8 19" but the ET is 42 in the front and 55 in the rear = the same as the Audi TT mk2
Will they fit ?
What is the ET of my wheels ?
Hey people, thought it was about time i done my own readers thread. I have had the car bout 3 years now i bought it completely standard
I started to mod it after a couple of months of owning it. To start off with i added the forge 007p which wasnt enough, so i added a bmc cda forced...
Time is ticking round for 4 new rubber and this also means i get emabressed by the state of my wheels.. flakey bubbly paint :(....

Ibiza fr standard brakes...
Would like evryones input and opinion on the following.I have a LCR 225 in PLat Silver/Grey. I am thinking of either:
Refurb original 18's in Black or Anthracite
or
New 18" Team Dynamic Pro Race 1.2's
Whats everyone elses view.
My car needs better brakes but I dont want to change my standard FR wheels (I like them a lot)
Can I fit the Seat race brakes together with wheel spacers and if so how much mm must they be?
Other options ?
Thanks
Hi all.
Does anyone have any pics of a grey Cupra R with dark standard wheels?
I am thinking about having them refurbished in a darker colour, but it would be good to see what they look like before choosing what colour exactly.
Cheers :D
Alloygator - anyone heard/used them?
A guy at work has just asked me if I've heard about "Alloygator" before, which I haven't....
A quick google shows some interesting stuff....

Anyone used/heard of them before?
I've just got some new alloys and have ordered a set of McGard locking bolts. Now on my old car I had a set of McGards plus anti-theft bolts all round that looked a bit like the pic below, but my new alloys were supplied with regular hex head bolts. Is there any benefit from replacing hex head...
i have a set of seat speedline corse wheels does anyone have a set or know how much they are worth. i got mine with the car and the guy a member. said they are rare?
Havnt been on for a long while so thought i would post up a few pictures of its currant state..
Pic of the older wheels
Img not to sure if i sould get my new ones sprayed at some point, need some imput!
Found a set of these i want the obvious negative factor being the different PCD and ET.
Current set up is obviously 5x100 ET38 and the Segins are 5X112 ET46.
So am i right in thinking some 10mm 5x112 to 5x100 adaptors would sort me out :)?

Any reason why a set of alloys that are et35 won't go on my Leon Cupra? Won't clear the caliper, thought et35 would be more than enough. Don't wanna fork out for hubcentric spacers, as they will be more than the wheels are worth. Could i get away with a 10mm shim spacer without having to...
