Yesterday driving to work, 2001 ibiza I had traction control on, but came off a roundabout hard and it kicked in and cut some power then when slowing down coming off a sliproad the light came on, and wouldn't go off, couldnt get traction control back on, also the esp light flashed...

My aircon is only blowing out warm air. According to a VW dealer they need regassed every 18 months. Anyone else had theirs done? And what did you pay? Doesnt seem to have lasted very well, I never had to regas any of my other cars the whole time I owned them... :shrug: Will need to keep...

My 99 Toledo seems to have a problem wioth starting wqhen the engine is warm. It starts up straight away when I try it when engine cold/not used for couple of hours, but if I turn off engine then turn on again, it turns and turns and turns and have to pump the gas for it to start. Again...

Anyone else had this problem? normally when its damp out and the engine is warm I have real problems starting the engine again, the management light comes on and it takes about 10 seconds to start, when it does go i have to gas it loads for it to kick in properly

anyone else felt that when its warm the leon feels more solid and better built than when its cold. Its not bad anyway but it feels really well built when its warm. Or is it just me! Maybe all the parts expand a little and it makes everything tighter?

Hi peeps I always hate early winter starts in my Ibiza, because it took ages to warm up, and I'd be shivering for the first 5-10 minutes of my journey. However, I've noticed the Passat (same PD130 engine) warms up FAR quicker, even before the top of the first hill I'm getting nice warm air...

I'm wondering if any of you guys could help me on this one ? I spoke to a guy earlier with a year 2k 110 TDi. It's totally standard and starts first time everytime when cold, but when starting when already at running temp it sometimes takes 3 or 4 attempts. Each attempt is at least 5 seconds...
