vents

with the floppy rubber hanging bits does anyone know how these work as in...if you're at any speed do they always suck air out the back? i assume they are to equalize pressure or something

I've read most of the threads about replacing the standard air vents with the chrome set, but I want to colour-code with the body colour. The dealer has a set that's just primed -- has anyone tried this? Any advice on painting? -Andy

Noticed that the Leon Cupra has chrome air vent covers fitted (according to Seat web site) anyone know if these are available as an add on to other leon models? I know there is a set for LHD cars which includes the centre air vent but presumably the side ones can now be bought separately from a...

Hi guys, Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions, a key as slid down the windscreen de-mister vents on my dash, its gone past the little foam bit that you can reach. Is there an easy(ish) way of gettin in those vents? Cheers!

dont suppose anyones got a decent lcr centre air vent assembly (you know, the double one with the red jobbies) mines been knacked since i got the car, and its finally got me annoyed enough to try and find one! none on fleabay and i'm yet to hit the breakers, thought i'd try here first...

HI, I just got my Leon mk2 a week ago but since i got there is a very annoying rattle/vibration that seems to be coming from inside the centre air vents, has anyone else got this, it's not there all the time but i would say 90%. Cheers!

Has this been done, had a search but cant find any photo's, only one chap saying dont attempt it its too hard!! Anyway, 1. Would like to remove front double air vents. 2. Cap off the vent pipe (or leave it if its not needed) 3. Build a fibreglass cage to fit in and hold the SatNav...

im going to fit a boost gauge in my right hand side air vent, before i do it just want an idea how to remove the vent before i brake anything, cheers

I seem to be getting various engine smells comming through the vents. Its been like this since i got it. Any ideas?

Just a quick one, not sure if anyone has already tried this on the Leon's yet. My mate who has a MK4 Golf, has just had some TT/S3 Wheel liner Vents fitted. They sit just behind where the intercooler(s) sit and in theory allow the air to pass thru the intercooler and into the wheel arch area...

Got these Audi S3 Airvents the other day and wired them up see what you think??

I'm sure for those of you that have fitted the Chrome diffuser bits yourselves you'll know what i'm talking about:no: The fitting instructions appear to have been written on a different planet:confused: I read them and had no idea what I was supposed to be doing so read the previous thread...

Can anyone shed any light on this as to how easy or difficult it would be to replace my standard air vents with those from a S3, the ones with the illumination :shrug: . Thanks for any help folks...........

Hi, Does anyone know how to remove the windscreen vents. I have a rattle coming from that kinda area and I wanna see if I can see what it is.

Has anybody have any idea were i can get the chrome rings that fit over the two circula vents on the dash .I have fitted the 3pc set to the dials they look the nuts but i would love to add some chrome to these two vents, just to finnish the look.:confused:

what are these 2 vents in the spare wheel well. i think these are the vent gaz was telling me about and i agree with him the thing rattles likes crazy. how do i get them off Smee

Anyone got any handy tips for fitting the chrome air vent surrounds for the centre two outlets only. Insructions require tool, U-30800 (what ever that is) but managed to do the outside ones by using brute force as they were easy to get purchase on, any ideas how I can get the other two out...
