I looked under my bonnet yesterday to find that my one way valve on the dv vac hoses had fallen down and melted on the exhaust manifold. :blink: So now i just have two hoses coming out of the inlet manifold. one to the FPR and the other goes to the dump valve. firstly is this ok? and secondly...

Just finished fitting my boost gauge. When im cruising at most speeds it always reads bettween 10-20 Vac when i accelerate normaly it goes up to 0-5 then under hard acceleration its abtou 10-11. Is it normal to be on vac then crusing? Boost hose fitted to the top of the DV. Thanks Nick

Where does everyone get their silicone tubing for vacuum pipes (for DV, FPR etc etc) and what internal diameter should I look for? Also, what are the effects of using too big or too small an ID tube on these parts, does internal volume of these tubes affect boost pressure at all...

Wanting to replace the vacuum hosing on my cupra with some silison hosing, what is the best size to fit 3 or 4 mm i.d and also will i need some pipe clips or will push fit be good enough?

This afternoon i changed some of the vac hosing under the bonnet to blue. My blue silicon turbo hoses should be here next week so will fit them as well and take new pics :) Before: After:

If you follow the vac pipe from the top of the dump valve it enters some black cylinder thing on top of the coilpacks, ive just noticed that the plastic nipple on the valve has cracked off ant the whole vac pipe is just hanging on slightly. Quick fix for this or do I have to buy the black...
