tints

Picked up my cupra on sat and looking at getting tints, anyone got any pictures ?

has anyone ever done their own? is it hard? i've got sod all to do this weekend so may have a pop at it.

Got my car booked in on tuesday, just curious wether... if my car had dark'ish tints on the front...say 40% (i know its illegal) would i actually fail an MOT over it?

does any one know whats going off with the window tints in england, what the legal limit, some people say 70% light through, and some people say only if standerd, please inform

Police were doing there stop checks 2day and omg they took my front tints off, and they wernt even dark, you could see straight through! once on the machince they said the visability was 21 28 28 so about 26% visability compared the legal standerd of 70% i was trully shocked and once they...

Been calling around a few local companies (Lincolnshire) for prices on tints on rear doors, rear screen and rear 1/4's, everone I have spoken with says they can't do the rear 1/4's because they are polycarb ? Can anyone help me ?:shrug: :confused: :blink:

Just thought post up a few pictures, dirty ones! of the ibiza with its new rear window tints, sunstrip and FK grill: I think that the tint (medium) is just right on the car dosnt look too black but then its dont look to light either as front windows aint tinted apart from standard...

i am thinking about removing my winter tints tomorrow.can anyone tell me the easiest way and how can i do it without damaging the heater strips on the rear window?cheers

hey, iv dont a few searches and havent really come up with any answers... my first Q is, what is the LEGAL limit 4 tints? and second is, how much does it bump up your premium... for example, im payin 1300, how much would it go up??? thanks alot!

Hi guys, anyone know of any decent but reasonable car tinting places in portsmouth area. I know of one on eastern road, which i used for my BMW, just wondered if there were any others. I think they charged £70 for two windows. WOuld appreciate any help. CHEERS . dan:funk:

Im looking into getting my windows tinted on my Leon. Im after some pictures of Leons which have had tints, i would probably go for a light smoke on the back windows. I have a silver Leon but any colour will do to show the tints:D

Well the coppers were doing spot checks on caernarfon road in Bangor today at 1am and I got done for having my driver and passenger window tints too dark. It only let 48% of light through so I was advised to have them removed. Car is going to look very odd now. :cry: At least they caught a car...
