Afternoon all, not posted in the good ol' mk2 section in a while........ Right I have a small problem, hopefully an easy fix. First occurred a few weeks ago but has got worse, I was on the motorway cruising at 65-70, went to overtake, so put my foot down and the car jolted a bit, revs dropped...

I posted a thread a while back about a 'tingling' noise on very light throttle. Seeing as a few others were getting the noise, I thought it must be normal. Since the remap, it's got louder... It's now changed to only 'tingling' when at boost threshold- on partial throttle & at any RPM...

Please excuse me if it has been posted before, did a search and it hasn't come up! Instead of removing the TB to clean it, turn the ignition on and get a friend to press the accelerator, it opens up and you can gently clean it with a suitable brush and carb cleaner!
