strips

It just came to my attention that they really are rather lame and I think the sideview would be ALOT better if I removed them.. howto do without damaging the paint? here we go again :happy:

hi all i have a bog standard leon but i want to improve how it looks on a very limited budget bcz of huge tax and insurance costs but my car is goin in next wednesday to have some rust spots sorted under the rear passenger door seal and i was thinking of gettin the black bump strips painted...

right need to get mine colour coded, was just wondering if anybody had removed them completely and if it looks good (pics)??

Ive got the black strips going around the car (as per signature), one of them is damaged, is there any way they can be taken off and replaced with new colour coded ones?

hi there on my mark one leon i am in the process of putting a cupra kit on it. i have a silver leon but it has the dull black standard side strips on the door. how do i go removing these so that i can paint them, how do i get them off any help greatly appreciated guys:):lol:

Just painted my bump strips. what you all recon. honest opinion now. its only temporary until i get my hands on a post face lift bodykit Also fitted my dump valve the other day and on my way to get my induction kit !!!

has anybody fitted the pure black bump strips to the cupra rather then the ones that come with an ibiza as standard?

i know that you can take the screws out from behind the front bump strips n leav them out and it will be fine but what i want to know is can you do the same on the rear bumper? because i would like to smooth all of my bump strips in if poss

Hello, I Recieved my car 3 days ago It's a Candy White Ibiza Cupra looks amazing but there is a little thing i dont like - the black door strips.. I have seen few that paint the door strips but after asking few painters i been told that because the strips are textured if i will paint it...
