stick

HI my gear stick knob has been worn down and it annoys me a fair bit. What can i replace it with. Preferably not to expensive. i looked about and couldnt find anything other than the usual tat on ebay. Are there any other models that share the knob.?

As title really, i just bought a Sony NVU-82t sat nav but dont want to stick it to the windscreen as its a thief magnet. Preferably trying to get it somewhere low key adn not too easy to spot from outside..... Is it possible to cut and make a section in the centre of the dash to mount it...

hi, I've got a cupra r and found a port inside the glove box on the back wall its got three pins and there is like a stick that fits into it!?does anyone have a clue what this is?spoke to the previous owner and he said it was something to do with the alarm, not sure exactly what mind you...

I have just bought my second Ibiza GTi. The only issue is the throw of the gear stick. Does anyone know of a short shift kit that can be fitted? Cheers

the clutch pedal seems to be sticking abit i mean there is play in the top but then clutch makes no noise, but when i let it spring all the way up it clicks loud when pressed down. the clutch seems to be fine and the pedal performs fine, just sticks at top bit

I checked my oil level today after a few weeks of driving since a service at my local Stealer. It is above the 'hashed' area of the dip stick by about 5 to 10mm ish, is this correct? Not at home to check the service/handbook. Left it over night to settle etc...... Ta Lee

Hi, Well while i was out sunday night i was kinda in the racing mood :redface: so what happened was when i was driving faster than normal i 'gently' rammed it into 2nd gear and i thought i ripped the gear stick staight out...but i didn't i pulled it about 3-4 inches higher than normal :doh: it...

Long story short..only need to replace one tyre at the mo....will need to do the other 3 in about 6k time I reckon...so start the process off and go fo F1's now or stick with PZero? Who reckons F1's are better - out of interest?

When I pull away in first my gear stick virbrates (flaps) back and forth, gradualy getting stronger as I go up the rev range..... Any ideas?

Hi I have had a boost gauge and pillar pod, but I cannot for the life of me get the pillar to stay stuck flush at the top where the cloth ceiling starts.... there is a small but highly annoying gap :( How do you guys do it?

In my 306 i had one of those circular magnets on the dash, and a thin stip magnet in the back of my phone, and it was amazing. however, new car, new phone (nokia n80) and i have no where to put the magnet on the car, and the thin stirp doesn't fit into the phone i've been sticking it in...

Hi all driving a mk4 ibiza fr tdi and have a rattly gearstick. its only when its in neutral when iv just taken it out of gear. its quite loud and really annoying. any of you lot have this problem and do you have any ideas on how to sort it out? cheers
