stereo

My stereo is giving me the right hump!! Its only a samll one, but i seem to have a hypersensitive volume nob..... If i turn it it goes silent all the time, i have to literally be mega gentle and turn it 1 notch at a time, otherwise it just goes silent!! Any ideas?? :wtf:

im i missing something, cos ive got the stereo removal tool and its locked in place underneith the search button but doesnt seem to want to know unter the "1" button. should it just pull out?

i have read a few threads about this with the altea so i took mine to my local seat dealer they said they needed to see it happen but as i tried to explain it will not do it on demand they are not convinced how have your dealers handled this or any help would be appreciated carl
