rocker

hi as above i have had this problem on and off and has just come back today [:@] after i thought i had sorted it, it always seems to come through the bolt between cylinder 1 and cam cover, i have had the rocker cover off and made sure the gasket (which is prob 2 months old) was clean around...

I have recently changed the rocker cover gasket due to oil seeping from it and down the front of the engine , but the other day I noticed its doing the same thing and from the same spot!? the 3 bolts on the top of the cover are at their limit, and cant be tighened any further, Has anyone any...

Hi all, I want to paint my Rocker cover and Inlet Manifold in a certain colour but I can't get it in high temp paint Would it work with normal spray paint then high temp laquar??? If not ill have to get a close match in high temp!! Mike

Hi ive just changed my tip and when removing the pipes i found the one that joins to the rocker is dumping a fair bit of oil into the tip. Its the black thing that has a flat round top, is this some sort of crankcase breather? any way i can reduce the oil escaping to the tip? Cheers Adam

I drive a toledo 110 tdi and Ive noticed that just behind my 3rd injector on the rocker cover there is a bit of soot gathered and you can feel air blowing out. i was just wondering what effect this would have on performance if any? and how much a replacement rocker gasket would be?

My wifes leon cupra (AUQ) has just started leaking oil from the rocker gasket. I've got one on order. Just wondering has anyone changed one before? What is the tightening sequence for the bolts? Will I need some gasket sealent? Many thanks.
