revs

Hello there all I have just been out and getting a seat Ibiza 1.4 sport 05. The car is mint in all areas apart from running. The car does start and runs normal about 800 1000 revs but some times when you rev it and hole it at about 3000 – 4000 revs the car sound like its limiting. No warning...

Hi all, what i want to know, from ibiza mk3 1.4 8v (petrol) owners, is how many revs the engine runs at in 80mph in 5th gear obviously, since mine is almost bang on 4,000 rpm, but have been told thats a bit high, wondered if anyone else got this? rpms in 5th are: 3,000 at 60 3,500 at 70...

I'm sure I've rad on here (but can't find it) that the turbo spools at around 2000rpm? Mine spools at under 1500rpm, nearer to 1300rpm. It's a Leon Cupra 150PD.

recnetly had 1 of the coil packs go, replaced it and runs fine except between 3k and 4k revs where it runs rough like when the coil went, it cuts the boost too but when i dip clutch or change gear the boost returns until i hit 3k again. is this a sign of another coil going? also changed...

When driving the car sometimes under load or heavy acceleration, when I change gear the revs sometimes increase by say 500rpm before dropping back. I have just replaced the DV for a forge one but still does it. Any ideas?
