garage i got it from have done a service but i still got the service sign coming on how can i reset it ? its a 2000 1.8 20v

Hi guys, I believe that my delayed idling when coming to a stop in the car my be down to the ecu need resetting. Is this a specialised job, as in can any garage do it, or can only certain places help?
