Help.
My LCR had a leak in the boot which was casued by the L shaped hose being loose. In the process of removing the trim for the boot internal light. A 2.5 cm rubber type cap thing fell down onto the spare wheel. I think it came from under the boot catch trim next to the light trim you have...
Well i've no cabin heating at the mo, problem with the damn heater pipes in the engine bay.
No matter what I do I can't get them to seal, I'm praying it's just the pipes and seals and not the matrix.
Anyway knowing my luck it will be the matix, anyone ever removed the dash?
Any pointers...

Bought a new splitter, tried to remove the old one with a bit of pulling but its on really tight.
I could pull a bit harder but afraid i might damage the bumper:doh:
Anyone ever done it before? Is there a nak to it? Or does it just pop off?
Hi there,
Wondered if you might be able to help me out before I do something stupid. Just fitted a new radio, but its such a tight fit that now I cant remove it using the little keys provided. I was hoping to give it a little push from behind to see if it willpush out enough for me to grab it...
I eventually got round to removing the EVAP / SAI yesterday as I had already removed the N249 etc previously and the battery now lives in the boot. The engine bay looks a lot tidier now with a lot more space to work with.
The car now idles slightly lumpy at times but it seems to pull harder...

noticed this a few days ago and was not very happy. i don't know how it happened as i always park very carefully in the least busy parts of any car park to avoid careless :censored: from touching my car, and it curtainly wasn't me who did it!
my question is has anyone else had a dent...
Hi guys. As some of you know i`ve tried to remap my car with the DPF and had problems. 2 months ago I remaped the car again, but with a soft remap...It was remaped to 200 hp and 400 Nm. Didn`t had problems with these figures on the Dpf. But i wanted more power...So i started to search how these...
I'm in the process of fitting cruise control to my Leon Mk1, but have come across a problem. Removing the steering wheel.
I'm sure most of you know that they have an airbag on the steering wheel, and these can be dangerous if tampered with. I'm confident i can do this DIY job, but would like...
has anyone considered or even removed the front splitter from their LCR for good? How does it look?
I'm only asking cos I was wondering if it still looks good etc etc...
I just removed the IBIZA badge on the back of the Cupra to put a new 20VT badge on and was shocked!
Where you would expect the paint under the badge to be darker than the rest of the car its not!
The badge has left a light shadow of IBIZA in the pait. The rest of the boot is darker than...

Has anyone who had doorpins on their Leon (be it an import like mine, or earlier model) actually managed to remove them successfully?
Basically I have the door pins, and want rid. I figure it would be a cheap but smart mod to do. At the same time, I can change the colour of...
Frustrated at not being able to do my second intercooler pipe mod, I've been a bit rash.
Don't know if you know, but on the 210/225 the turbo is fitted with a "silencer". That's what the bulge is in the pipe from the turbo. Anyway I've taken mine out. Not for the faint hearted - lots of...
