remaps

My car has supposedly had an apr remap. Was wondering if there is anywhere in scotland that do this as it might have been done there. Was thinking of going to stage 2 at sometime in the future and no point in changing to a different remap. Would also be cheaper. £125 for stage 2.

How many people actually inform their insurers of increased bhp ? and anyone had problems making a claim . ? I bought a tdi that was advertised at 150 bhp but turns out to be nearer 200. not complaining , lovely to drive and loads of fun . but what's the legal angle ?

I rang my insurance company..... Zurich about the cost involved if i remapped my LC.....they have just got back to me,and said they will not insure me if i remap.Does anyone know a decent insurer i can get a quote from,that may be a little more understanding. Cheers
