remapped

hi all iv got a 1.6 seat leon 57plate, i know someone who owns a garage and he said he could map my car or flash the ecu he said it will give me abit more power by derestricting the engine. i.e more airflow more fuel = more power (about 20bhp) he said hell do it for free im just wondering is...

I have searched this but can't find any information. I read though that when your car has been remapped it goes into limp mode constantly. What can you do to stop this?

Should i get my ecu remapped , which is best to go for id like to boost my torque and bhp nothing serious just to about 270 how much will it cost

Hi! I have a remapped LCR with a BMC CDA sp12 induction. The car made 242hp on the RR and I can see from my logs that the MAF read 193 g/sec MAX. So the 242hp and 193 g/sec seems equal enough, but, it boosts around 1,5 bar. Could my BMC CDA be the limiter here? or may'be the standard TIP...

Alrite lads. I have a question, I got a Cupra 180, on an 05 plate, and i have had a few 'duels' recently with cars such as Audi S3 (Y reg) and Astra VXR 56 plate, and have come out on top in both races (on private roads obviously) is this normal or could my car be re-mapped??
