I have a query about the old square shape door mirrors... The casing appears to be made of two parts - the body-coloured upper shell, and the matt black lower shell. I want to know if it's possible to buy a new lower shell anywhere? I can only seem to find it as part of a full mirror...

my drivers side window desides to work as and when it wants to. some days it will work fine and others it wont even go down. anyone got an idea as to why it isn't just not working at all or just working all the time?? cheers.
